The view through the lens is not clear. This is not a toy, but not really good for practical use either. It seems to be more of a movie set prop. It can also be used to complete a costume to look like Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean or propped on a shelf as a display. There are a few, small blemishes as seen in the pictures.
