TELESCOPE LASER MOUNTING ADAPTER / Converter This adapter converts a Celestron red dot finder rail to a picatinny rail suitable for mounting Pinty brand and other picatinny rail mount lasers or finders to a telescope. Fabulous problem solving part, makes it easy to convert your Celestron RDF to a laser.
I always did not like using the red dot finder, because I would get neck and back aches after an astronomy session due to body contortions trying to look through the red dot. I got rid of the red dot and now use a laser and I love it.
Throw away that RDF finder and switch your SE to a laser pointer. Complete instructions will be included - this will use the clamp part (at the base of the red dot finder) to mount the laser.
This is a sturdy plastic part.
