Item Description
Factory steering shafts for many GM models are no longer available from GM, but your worn out steering shafts can now be replaced. The Borgeson direct replacement assemblies consist of a telescoping shaft, a needle bearing u-joint and a rag joint. A Borgeson heavy-duty truck assembly will fix that loose, wandering steering for good.
This 000935 steering shaft only fits on trucks that had a a 2-1/2” diameter rag joint on the factory steering shaft. It replaces the 2-1/2" diameter rag joint with a u-joint. If you have a 3-1/4” diameter rag joint on your factory steering shaft, use the 000934 steering shaft.
Note: Since this steering shaft replaces the rag joint with a u-joint it can be used on any of these trucks. It is a little longer and may need to be shortened for some applications, but otherwise it will fit.
